SMS & Messaging Terms

Last updated: July 9, 2026

These SMS & Messaging Terms are provided by Smart Talk, LLC, operator of the PealCast service. They describe the text-messaging program that PealCast operates on behalf of subscribing churches. Each church is responsible for obtaining valid consent from its members and for its own compliance obligations; PealCast provides the platform used to send messages. These terms are not legal advice.

Program description

PealCast, a Smart Talk service, sends go-live and church-communication text messages on behalf of the subscribing church to members who have opted in. Typical messages let a member know when their church's live stream has started, with a link to watch, along with related church communications and follow-up.

How to opt in

Members opt in to receive text messages by taking an affirmative action — for example, by texting a keyword to the church's number, or by providing their mobile number at the church's "get connected" prompt when they watch. Consent to receive text messages is required and is not a condition of any purchase. Only members who have opted in will receive messages.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Members generally receive messages around each live service and when the sending church has something to communicate, so the number of messages depends on how often the church goes live and sends.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply. Any charges are billed by your mobile carrier according to your plan; PealCast and the church do not charge you for receiving these messages.

Getting help — reply HELP

For help at any time, reply HELP to any message. You can also email us at support@pealcast.io or call 855-670-0076.

Unsubscribing — reply STOP

You may cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages from that program. If you want to rejoin later, you can opt in again at any time.

Carriers

Supported carriers include the major U.S. mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.

Privacy

Your privacy matters. Mobile opt-in information and phone numbers are not shared with third parties, and we do not sell them. For full details on how we collect, use, and protect your information, see our Privacy Policy. These terms work alongside our Terms of Service.
